Job Description

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Bath and West Wiltshire as a Care Professional.

You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Professional However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting and supporting people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Full paid blended learning training provided, with the opportunity to gain a Diploma in Health and Social Care
  • No prior experience or specific qualifications required, but experience in a care setting or supporting others is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
  • Compassionate and patient nature
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Physical capability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
  • Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle preferred (but not essential)
  • Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
