A prominent education provider in Peterborough is seeking a Career Coach to support students in achieving their career goals. You will deliver practical workshops, mentor individuals, and engage with local employers to connect students with opportunities. Overview

Salary Point 23 - £27,783 per annum
Hours 37 hours per week, all year round
Contract Permanent
Location Peterborough College 4 days Stamford College 1 day.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a varied, fast-paced, and rewarding role where you'll:

  • Work 1:1 with students to uncover their career goals and map out their next steps
  • Deliver engaging, practical workshops on employability, job searching, CV writing, LinkedIn and interview skills
  • Champion career-related events and national campaigns like National Careers Week
  • Support learners through university and UCAS applications - reviewing personal statements and boosting confidence
  • Build relationships with local employers, guest speakers and community groups to connect students to opportunities
  • Use digital tools to guide learners through today\u2019s ever-changing job market
  • Track your impact - because what you do will make a difference
Who We're Looking For

You'll thrive in this role if you're:

  • A natural motivator and mentor who connects easily with adults from all walks of life
  • Confident running workshops or group sessions (bonus if you've delivered training or tutorials!)
  • Super organised, tech-savvy, and ready to take initiative
  • Passionate about education, employability, and creating meaningful change
  • Collaborative and comfortable working across departments, events and projects
What You'll Need
  • Level 3 qualification (minimum)
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4+)
  • A careers or IAG qualification (Level 3 or higher)
  • A strong background in customer service, careers support, employability, or education
