Job summary

Trinity Academy Leeds invites applications for a Careers Coordinator to join our founding team as the school grows. The role focuses on delivering high-quality careers guidance to students and developing the established careers pathway.

You will work within Trinity Multi-Academy Trust, contributing to an ambitious, outcomes-focused environment and supporting students in making informed transitions post-16.

Qualifications

• L6 in Careers Advice and Guidance or willingness to undertake this key qualification.
• Experience of working with identified disaffected students, or groups of students.
• Experience of working with young people in an educational setting.
• Experience of planning and running events and trips.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop the careers programme for Trinity Academy Leeds.
• Build and enhance the existing careers pathway to help students make informed choices.
• Plan and coordinate careers events, trips and activities for students.

This is an exciting time to join the founding team of an outstanding school, Trinity Academy Leeds as it continues to grow and develop. Trinity Academy Leeds opened its doors in September 2021 to 240 students from across the city and has already established a strong culture of excellence where all staff are united under the same shared mission, to enrich and strengthen the life choices and chances of the young people in east Leeds and beyond. Our school is now in its sixth year and currently has 1200 students on roll. We had our first Ofsted inspection in May 2024 and achieved ‘outstanding in all areas’.

The role of careers coordinator will be key in supporting our students as they move through their academic career. We are keenly aware of the need to ensure that all young people have clear and accessible careers advice in order to make decisions which will guide them to future success. With an award-winning careers pathway already established, we are seeking a careers coordinator who can take the existing framework to the next level to ensure that all students in east Leeds have the skills, knowledge and attributes to fulfil their potential.

What we need:
