A successful educational institution in Bristol is seeking an experienced Careers Assistant to support the Careers Leader and manage the administration of vital career activities. The role involves organizing work experience programs for Year 10 and Year 12 students, as well as maintaining tracking systems for those at risk of becoming NEET. Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only
Salary: £26,403 pro rata. Actual salary £23,090
This is a permanent position to commence from 5th of January 2026.
Cotham School, a successful, vibrant and diverse 11-18 comprehensive school, wishes to appoint an experienced Careers Assistant.
The successful applicant will have the necessary knowledge, skills and vision to be an exceptionally organised Careers Assistant. As Careers Assistant you will support the Careers Leader with the organisation and administration of activities planned with year groups. Administering the school’s Work Experience Programmes for year 10 students and year 12 students on our Foundation Programme. Administering the schools Careers advice appointments, managing and maintaining the Year 11 at risk of NEET tracker.
The post holder will predominantly administer the day to day running of the annual work experience element for our Year 10 students.
