The Role

We re recruiting for multiple Careers Advisors to join the Sheffield delivery team. You ll provide high-quality careers information, advice, and guidance (IAG) to adults across a centre is Sheffield.

You ll use your knowledge of local labour market trends to help individuals understand their options, make informed career decisions, and progress into learning or work. This is a varied, rewarding role where no two days are the same.

Key aspects of the role include:
  • Delivering both group sessions and 1:1 guidance to adults, covering topics such as employability, upskilling, and education pathways.
  • Promoting the service to local partners and organisations to increase referrals.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders including Jobcentre Plus, training providers, colleges, and community organisations.
  • Supporting contract performance targets by helping individuals achieve positive learning and job outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with DfE, Ofsted, and Matrix quality standards.
  • Using labour market information to inform delivery and inspire customers.
