This is a Careers, Information, Advice & Guidance (CIAG) Advisor role - but with purpose. You'll work inside prison settings, helping individuals rediscover confidence, skills, and direction. Through one-to-one coaching, employability workshops, and personalised action plans, you'll give people the tools they need to rebuild their lives and succeed beyond custody. - Empower individuals - Deliver career guidance that helps people identify strengths, set goals, and plan meaningful career pathways.
- Run engaging workshops - Lead interactive sessions on CV writing, interview preparation, financial literacy, and digital skills.
- Support transitions - Help participants secure Release on Temporary Licence (RoTL) placements, apprenticeships, or further education.
- Provide holistic support - Address wider barriers such as mental health, housing, or financial challenges that impact employability.
- Collaborate with partners - Work closely with prison staff, training providers, local authorities, and employers to expand opportunities.
- Ensure compliance - Adhere to safeguarding, prison protocols, and data protection standards at all times.
- Be Ambitious: Drive growth and progress for yourself and those you support.
- Be Inspiring: Motivate others to believe in their potential.
- Be Proud: Deliver excellence and celebrate success stories.
- Be Considerate: Collaborate with empathy and understanding.
- Own it: Take responsibility for outcomes, impact, and integrity.
