Overview

Careers Advisor – Advertised by Think FE Ltd. on behalf of a leading Further Education college in Northamptonshire. Full Time Permanent or Term Time Only. We’re working with an Ofsted-rated (Good/Outstanding) college in Northamptonshire to recruit two committed and student-focused Careers Advisors to join their vibrant student support department.

What You0ll Be Doing

• Provide 1:1 guidance to students, helping them explore career options, identify strengths and set future goals.
• Support the planning and delivery of a comprehensive careers programme across the college.
• Deliver engaging career masterclasses alongside the Careers Lead.
• Represent the college by giving advice to prospective students during open events, transition days and ad hoc occasions.

Available Positions

There are two full-time opportunities available:

• A 52-week permanent role, offering a salary between £24,378 and £26,601 per annum.
• A term-time only (TTO) role, offering a salary between £21,096 and £23,020 per annum.

Who Wefre Looking For

You could be:

• Someone with a Level 3 or 4 IAG qualification, extensive customer service experience, and a passion for student support. Youre comfortable offering 1:1 guidance and liaising with employers at careers fairs and events.
• Someone from a recruitment, employability or business background, used to dealing with both B2B and B2C clients. Youre confident in customer service and are now looking to apply your experience to the education sector.
