Job summary

A Multi Academy Trust in Rotherham is seeking a Careers Adviser to provide high-quality, impartial advice to students at Thomas Rotherham College. Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above or equivalent required.
  • Level 3 Certificate in Advice and Guidance or equivalent necessary.
  • Proven experience delivering careers advice in educational settings required.

Inspire Learning Trust is a Multi Academy Trust based in Rotherham which also includes Oakwood High School, Sitwell Junior School, Thomas Rotherham College and Winterhill School.

Based at Thomas Rotherham College, you will play a key role in supporting our students’ future success. As a Careers Adviser, you will provide high quality, impartial advice and guidance, helping students make informed decisions about their education, training and employment pathways. Your work will ensure they are well prepared for life beyond college.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated Careers team, with two positions available. We offer flexible contracts, with some examples of working patterns shown above, and ask applicants to outline their preferred work pattern within the application form.

The postholder will deliver 1:1 career advice and information sessions, take responsibility for a designated cohort of EHCP and flexible learning students, support students with employment and education applications, and coordinate careers events.
