A charity focused on education is seeking a part-time Careers Adviser in Oxford. This role involves delivering career guidance in schools, facilitating one-on-one sessions and group workshops. Candidates should hold a Level 6 qualification related to Information Advice and Guidance. The position offers a salary between £19,698 and £22,321 per annum, with flexible working conditions and a chance to make a meaningful impact on young people's lives.
We are currently recruiting for a Career Advisers to join our expanding and highly successful Education and Business Team in Oxfordshire. This vacancy is part time term time 28 hours per week.
The Careers Adviser role includes the delivery and coordination of Careers Information Advice and Guidance activities in schools/colleges to include one-to-one guidance interviews and aspirational/motivational group work (both programme style and individual sessions). This includes finding the best ways to help young people achieve successful transitions, develop confidence, and establishing effective partner relationships with schools, colleges and employers.
We work with more than 270 schools and colleges across the country, creating inspiring tailored Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance packages to meet their needs.

With us you’ll have the opportunity to take the lead and design targeted sessions for students in a range of year groups based on evidence for maximum impact. You will need a relevant Level 6 qualification related to Information Advice and Guidance for this role.
The salary for this part time term time position is between £19,698 and £22,321 per annum depending on experience (and includes a London weighting payment). Our full time Careers Advisers in London are paid between £29,133 and £33,013 per annum.
