Salary: £27,000 per annum pro rata + On-Call Rate + Benefits (see below)

As a Field Care Worker Supervisor you will carry out a blend of direct care and compliance duties, ensuring that service users receive compassionate support aligned with their individual care plans.

The Field Care Worker Supervisor role involves conducting observations, mentoring staff, reviewing documentation and promoting best practice across the service while maintaining strong communication with colleagues, families and professionals.

Duties
  • Deliver High-Quality Care: Provide person-centred support aligned with care plans
  • Promote Wellbeing: Encourage independence, dignity and choice
  • Record Information Accurately: Maintain clear care notes, medication records and incident reports
  • Support Staff Performance: Carry out supervisions, observations and competency checks
  • Monitor Quality and Compliance: Ensure care plans, risk assessments and documentation remain up to date
  • Assist With Reviews: Support service user reviews and communicate changes promptly
  • Uphold Safeguarding Standards: Report concerns and follow policies
  • Support New Staff: Mentor, coach and assist with shadowing
  • Ensure Safe Practice: Follow infection control, medication and manual handling procedures
Candidate Requirements
Essential
  • Proven experience of delivering person-centred care
  • A background in community-based social care
  • Experience with care planning and safeguarding procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Experience with staff support or supervisory duties
Desirable
  • Experience with digital care recording systems
