A regional council in the UK seeks a Night Care Worker to provide personalized care for elderly citizens at The Oaks, a modern residential unit. Working Hours: 33.25 Hours per week
Worker Type: Night Care Worker
Salary: Starting Salary is 26824 for Level one rising to 27694 for Level three per annum (pro rata for part-time)

The Oaks (St. Anns) is a modern residential unit for elderly citizens with a range of needs including dementia. Citizens may be either short term or longer term residents depending on their identified needs and circumstances.
Care Workers at Level 2 implement Care Plans and report any concerns or reasons care plans cannot be followed as well as monitoring care and welfare of citizens recording accurate information on running records communication books care plans monitoring charts (e.g. weight monitoring falls etc.) and other written and electronic communications as required.
Care Workers at Level 2 are also expected to work and cooperate with other professionals as well as citizens and their meaningful others to ensure a shared approach to care and support and continuity of care and treatment.
To provide safe and appropriate personalised care and support to citizens in a way that that maintains their dignity maximises independence and gives them choice and control over the way their care is provided. This includes writing and maintaining individual person centred care plans and the administration of medication.
To work in any area of Adult Social Care whether in the home the community or within a Council establishment and to be prepared to work with Citizens with different and varying needs.
