Care Worker / Home Care Assistant (Rochdale)

Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester

Pay: £12.50 per hour (enhanced rate of pay for weekends & bank holidays)

Hours: Flexible / Casual / Zero-hours

Expected hours: up to 20 per week

What You’ll Do
  • Provide personal hygiene care (washing, dressing, oral care, grooming, toileting) with dignity and respect
  • Support with mobility and safe use of aids and lifting equipment, including safe manual handling when required
  • Assist with medication in line with training, policy and care plans
  • Prepare or reheat meals, make drinks, and offer day‑to‑day support
  • Maintain a safe and tidy home environment
  • Offer companionship, reassurance, and meaningful conversation
  • Assist people to health appointments or shopping

Keep professional and accurate records and report any changes in wellbeing. We don’t rush. We focus on quality, not speed.

Who You Are

A minimum of 1 year care experience is required. We provide full training and support.

You do need:

  • A caring, patient, and reliable nature
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility with working hours
