Job summary

A domiciliary care provider in the UK is seeking care support workers to perform health-care tasks and provide personal care to Service Users. The role requires commitment to client confidentiality and dignity. No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided. Residents in the UK must have the right to work.

• Previous care experience is welcomed but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform health-care related tasks such as monitoring vital signs.
• Administer bedside and personal care, including ambulation assistance.
• Advise and support personal care of Service Users.
• Plan and prepare meals for Service Users.
• Support household duties like washing and ironing.
• Maintain client confidentiality and dignity.
• Prepare and maintain records of client progress.

We are currently recruiting for the role of care support workers. Some of the job duties include:

• Perform health-care related tasks, such as monitoring vital signs and medication, under the direction of registered nurses and physiotherapists.
• Administer bedside and personal care, such as ambulation and personal hygiene assistance.
• Advise, support and/or attend in the appropriate personal care of Service Users.
• Advise, support and or undertake the planning, preparation, cooking and serving of meals.
• Support or undertake household duties such as washing & ironing etc.
• Maintain Service Users confidentiality, respect, privacy and dignity always.
• Prepare and maintain records of client progress and services performed, reporting changes in client condition to manager or supervisor.

Essential requirement: You must be a resident in the UK and have a valid right to work. Previous care experience is greatly welcomed but training will be provided.
