Leicestershire County Council have been implementing their Care Technology Service within adult social care since May 2022. An exciting opportunity has become available for a Referral Coordinator to join our well established and supportive team in providing Care Technology.
The aim of the new Care Technology Service is to assist people in remaining independent for longer, stay at home and give people their confidence back. The new service positively impacts a wide range of stakeholders across the council and across the local health and care system, from care professionals and wider staff to people who need support, their carers and family members.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about providing and delivering positive outcomes through the use of care technology alongside other support methods that the individual may or may not receive from adult social care.
You will be responsible for the triage, processing and booking of new referrals received into the service and providing support and guidance to people looking to refer for Care Technology.
We'd also expect you to share our commitment to our values and will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the interview process.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.
