Anchor Hanover Wellington Lodge in Manchester is seeking a caring and reliable Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. The role focuses on delivering dignified personal care, assisting with meals, and supporting residents with various daily activities while fostering a warm, respectful environment.

As part of Anchor Hanover, you’ll be joining England’s largest not-for-profit provider of care and housing for older people, with a strong emphasis on living wage commitments and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is required/advantageous.
• Experience in elder care is preferred.
• Ability to provide dignified personal care with empathy and discretion.

Responsabilités

• Provide dignified personal care to residents and assist during meals.
• Support residents with daily activities and mobility while promoting independence.
• Offer compassionate, patient, and respectful companionship and listening.

Job Purpose:

As a Care Assistant, you'll bring compassion, energy, and fun to our residents. Your role includes providing dignified personal care, assisting during mealtimes, and provide sensitive and appropriate support with various aspects of people's lives. Beyond physical care, you'll also be a comforting and attentive listener.
