Care UK is seeking a Care Team Leader in Newbury to lead and supervise shifts, oversee care planning, and coordinate with families and professionals to deliver high-quality care. The role involves medication administration, risk assessments, and supporting residents to stay active and independent.

The successful candidate will work with the leadership team to develop services and foster a caring, professional environment for residents and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in health and social care is desirable.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to delegate work.
• Proven leadership and supervision experience.
• Good understanding of care planning processes.
• Experience with or willingness to train on medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising your shift.
• Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure that the best care plans are created and delivered.
• Administering and recording medication.
• Carrying out risk assessments.
• Working alongside care assistants to support residents with daily needs, ensuring residents remain as active and independent as possible.
