Job description

We are seeing a highly motivated Care Team Leader to join our dedicated team in one of our services in Maidstone.

As a Care Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in supervising and supporting our Care Support Workers to deliver outstanding care and support to the people we support here at Lifeways.

For this service we require staff who will be willing to drive our company cars, and you therefore need to have a UK Driving Licence.


Summary of responsibilities of our Care Team Leaders:

  • Lead and manage a team of care support workers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the highest standards of care and support is delivered.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care team, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Working to clients individual care and support plans, promoting person centred care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and professional development.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.

Summary of skills and experience require to become a Care Team Leader:

  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role in the healthcare or social care sector.
