Overview

Care Team Leader – Residential Home

Hours: Flexible rota, including early, late, weekend, and bank holiday shifts. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Care Team Leader to join our dedicated team in a residential home setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care for individuals living with Dementia while leading and supporting a team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Shift Pattern

Flexible 4-week rota provided in advance (shifts may vary week to week). Alternate weekends required. Shift times: Early 07:15 – 15:15; Late 13:45 – 21:45. Includes bank holiday working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise care staff during shifts as the senior in charge
  • Administer medication safely in line with company policies and procedures
  • Update and review residents’ care plans to maintain person-centred care
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals to support residents’ health and well-being
  • Support with daily care routines and encourage a positive, supportive environment
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
Requirements
  • Essential: Experience working with individuals living with Dementia
  • Essential: Previous experience supervising staff and leading a shift
  • Essential: Medication administration experience
  • Essential: Valid Emergency First Aid at Work certificate
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high standards of care
