Job summary

Anchor Hanover Group is seeking a dedicated Care Team Leader to guide and support the care team in delivering high-quality, person-centred dementia care for residents. The role involves leading shifts, mentoring staff, overseeing medication administration, and ensuring accurate records.

You will work in a fast-paced residential setting, liaise with families and healthcare professionals, uphold safeguarding and regulatory standards, and participate in handovers and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
• Experience in residential or dementia care settings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and dementia care practices.

Job description

35 hours per week.7.30 - 14.30, 14.30 - 21.30 or 7.30-21.30. 2 week rota, one weekend on and one weekend off.

A Care Team Leader is responsible for leading and supporting the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for residents living with dementia.

Criteria:

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working in a residential or dementia care setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding, and dementia care practices.
• Ability to lead by example and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Medication administration experience.
• Knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
