NHS Jobs in Plymouth is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker for a bank role that offers flexible hours. You will provide essential patient support, monitor vitals, and assist with daily living activities under the guidance of the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

• 6 months Acute HCSW UK hospital/hospice experience within the last 2 years OR Studying General/Adult Nursing with 12 weeks clinical placements.

Responsabilités

• Monitor patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight.
• Assist in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse.
• Ensure that the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care and well being.
• Assist patients with compassion during activities of daily living while respecting privacy, dignity and human rights.

What you'll need:

• Minimum of 6 months Acute HCSW UK (Private, NHS or Armed Forces) hospital/hospice experience within the last 2 years OR Currently studying General/Adult Nursing (Student Nurse) and completed a minimum of 12 weeks clinical placements.
