Job summary

Radis Community Care is looking for dedicated Care/Support Workers to assist people living in their own homes in England. A valid driving license with your own transport is essential, as is a compassionate, respectful approach to care.

We offer full-time roles with thorough training, progression opportunities, and structured support for new starters. Mileage allowances, pension, and ongoing training are included to support your career in community care.

Qualifications

• Must be a driver with your own transport (car, motorcycle, moped etc).
• Experience in care/support work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to people living in their own homes, flexibly to meet needs.
• Assist with daily living tasks, personal care, hygiene, light meals, and domestic duties.
• Administer medications as required while respecting privacy and dignity.
• Work with adults with learning disability services.
• Support clients with a kind, patient approach and positive attitude.

About the role

You will need to be a driver with your own transport (car, motorcycle, moped etc) - the work is not suited to non-drivers

As a Support Worker - Community you will provide care/support to the people we support living independently in their own homes, that is flexible and responsive to their needs. This can include assisting them with daily living tasks, personal care and hygiene, light meal preparation and domestic tasks and medication - this will mean you’ll understand the importance of privacy and dignity – so important to everyone. You will also work with Adult Learning Disability service users – and receive enhanced pay for these calls.

And always with a kind smile and a supportive word, even when sometimes a day is challenging!
