Job summary

Lifeways is seeking dedicated care professionals for Embla Walk in Salford. You’ll support adults with learning disabilities, epilepsy, autism and fragile X syndrome, helping with daily routines, personal care and community activities.

As part of a close-knit team you’ll promote choice, dignity and respect, encouraging independence. This full-time role offers shifts from 08:00 to 20:00, across Monday to Sunday, with a thorough induction and ongoing development support.

Shift Details

• Full-time (37.5 hrs/week between Monday–Sunday)
• Shifts patterns: 08.00am - 20.00pm

What You’ll Be Doing

Embla Walk is a shared bungalow where we support adults with learning disabilities, epilepsy, autism and fragile X syndrome. Expect plenty of variety from personal care routines; visiting the gym; walking; music classes; cinema; shopping; listening to music; watching TV; arts and crafts; gardening, bingo; socialising; being in the community plus lots more. We support individuals to live independently and achieve their personal goals, promoting choice, dignity & respect in everyday life. We work as part of a close-knit, supportive team.

A full UK driving licence is desirable

All applicants will be required to complete a DBS that is paid for by the company.
