Role Overview

If you are keen to learn and passionate about helping people, Dermatology is the place for you. An exciting opportunity has become available to join our Dermatology team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable person to work flexibly in our busy department. The successful candidate will start in the role as Band 2 and will progress to Band 3 once training is complete.

Responsibilities

Work as a member of the team, carrying out tasks that involve direct patient care in support of registered nurses and medical staff in clinics. Assist in clinics and with surgical procedures according to agreed policies. Support the reception of patients, relatives and visitors, ensuring privacy and dignity are maintained at all times. Maintain the patient's dignity and self‑respect at all times, delivering a high standard of care and promoting patient safety, effective care and a positive patient experience throughout the patient's journey.

Qualifications

Excellent organisational, time‑management and interpersonal skills. Ability to work within a team and on your own initiative. Open to change and interested in personal development. Effective communication skills, flexibility within the department, and appreciation of confidentiality principles.
