Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or over to join the Care South Team.
  • Previous care experience not essential; customer care experience is valuable.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent person-centred care.
  • Support residents to remain as independent as possible.
  • Check on residents regularly; assist with moving and positioning if needed.
  • Provide personal care including washing and undressing.
  • Build relationships and provide companionship.
  • Contribute to a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Overview

Care & Support Assistant – Talbot View, Bournemouth. Pay rate: £12.50 to £12.75 per hour + paid breaks. Hours: Full time & Part time. We have an exciting opportunity to join the TEAM at Talbot View, our modern dementia residential care home, with strong ties to the Ensbury Park Community.

Join Our Team: The TEAM at Talbot View are keen to meet people with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. You'll need to be naturally compassionate and understanding of others. Previous care experience is not essential for our "Care Team". You may be in a customer care role or have helped in your community. A full induction and training programme will be provided to support you. If this sounds like you then we would love for you to join the team!

Responsibilities
  • Delivering excellent person centred care.
  • Supporting & encouraging residents to remain as independent as possible.
  • Checking on residents on a regular basis; moving & positioning if required.
  • Providing elements of personal care including washing & undressing where needed.
  • Building relationships and providing companionship – getting to know our residents.
  • Working in a team to create a cooperative, friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the home.
