If you’re a Care Solicitor looking to join a truly supportive team within a nationally respected family law firm, this could be your next step.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across the firm’s South Yorkshire offices, managing a public law caseload from start to finish and advocating for vulnerable clients at PLO meetings and in court.

Who we’re looking for- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (all levels considered, including NQs)
- Solid understanding of childcare law and public law proceedings
- Experience managing or assisting on own caseload of care matters
- Advocacy experience or willingness to develop
- Children Law Accreditation
- Team player who contributes to a collaborative working environment
- Friendly, compassionate approach with a passion for helping families
- Full-time preferred; 3 days/week possible for the right person
What you’ll be doing- Running your own caseload of care and pre-proceedings cases
- Managing a range of complex child law matters, including child protection, fostering, and adoption
- Attending and representing clients at PLO meetings and in court
- Delivering outstanding client care and communication
- Participating in business development and sharing ideas with the wider team
- Supporting colleagues by stepping in to cover hearings or leave where needed
