A local governmental body in Hinckley is seeking a Care Services Team Leader to join their friendly team at The Trees Short Breaks. This role involves providing high-quality care and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while leading a dedicated team. Supervisory experience in social care is essential, along with the ability to adapt to a flexible schedule fulfilling needs for 24/7 service. The role offers training support and encourages applications from diverse backgrounds.
Working Hours: One x 37 hours per week and one casual post (zero hour contract) (Must be able to work flexibly and participate in a work rota and work weekends and bank holidays when required between the hours of 07.00 and 22.00)

Our friendly team at The Trees Short Breaks, in Hinckley are looking for a Care Services Team Leader to join our team (1 x 37 hours post (FTC 1 year) and 1 x Casual post). The Trees Short Breaks is a purpose-built respite home in Hinckley, providing respite care for adults with learning disability, Autism, Physical disabilities and Sensory impairments. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work as part of our team, to provide person centred care.
We are looking for people with supervisory or managerial experience who can help us to continue delivering high quality care and support to adults with learning differences (disability) in our Short Breaks services.
You will help us maintain high quality services through effective audit systems and ensure we deliver outcome focussed care and support. You will have the skills to identify risks and have knowledge a good knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
You will provide direct care and support to people who use our services and have the ability to motivate and support our committed team and promote the right values and celebrate individuality and diversity.
You will work in accordance with Leicestershire County Council’s Employee Code of Conduct, Skills for Care Code of Conduct for Adult Social Care Workers.
We will provide the training and you will have a team behind you to mentor, coach and support your journey.
We will meet the training costs and the DBS enhanced check (Adults Barred List) for a regulated activity required for this post.
