Job summary

Home Instead Beverley & Hull is hiring Care Professionals to support older adults in their own homes with a compassionate, consistent care routine. You will conduct visits that remain a minimum of one hour, fostering meaningful relationships and ensuring personalized, person-centered care.

We offer full paid training and ongoing support so you can feel confident in your role, with pay for travel and wait time plus 35p per mile.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring is helpful but not required.
• Dependable and empathetic approach to older adults.
• Must have a driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with meals or tea and accompany to appointments or shopping.
• Support with medication and personal care when needed.

At Home Instead Beverley & Hull, we believe care should never be rushed. Our visits are always a minimum of one hour, giving you the time to build genuine relationships with clients you will visit consistently, and provide thoughtful, person-centred care.

Salary:£13.15 - £13.65/hour + PAID travel & Wait Time + 35p per mile. With enhanced Pay on Bank Holidays

Shift Times:

• Morning Shift: 08:30 - 14:30
• Afternoon Shift: 14:15 - 16:30
• Evening Shift:16:30 – 22:30

Shift Requirements:

You must have:

● A driving licence and access to a car

● The right to work in the UK

What You’ll Do

As a Care Professional you will support older adults, who you will see regularly, to remain independent in their own homes. Your visits may include:

● Companionship and conversation

● Preparing meals or sharing a cup of tea

● Accompanying clients to appointments or shopping

● Supporting with medication

● Personal care such as dressing, washing when required
