Home Instead is seeking caring individuals in Lewisham and Southwark to join our team as CAREGivers. You will provide a range of home services to help clients stay independent, including personal care, companionship, and medication support in clients' homes.

No formal qualifications are required, though prior experience in care is a plus. You will be reliable, trustworthy, and enjoy building relationships with clients while respecting their autonomy.

Qualifications

• No experience or qualifications required; training provided.
• Experience in caring for others is helpful but not required.

Job Description

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team inLewisham and Southwarkas a CAREGiver. As a CAREGiver, you willprovide a variety of home services to help them keep independent in their own home - this includes,

• Personal Care Duties
• Administering Medication
• Manual handling, using equipment where required
• Promoting health and wellbeing of Clients
• Flexibly work a range of shift patterns

You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a CAREGiver. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.

Qualifications

Training and support is provided. Experience working in care would bea benefit.
