A care services company is looking for Care Professionals to provide companionship and support to older individuals in their own homes. This role offers full training and requires a warm, caring personality along with a flexible attitude. Candidates should have a driving license and access to a vehicle. Benefits include paid travel time and consistent client relationships.
At Home Instead, we aspire to offer consistency and reliability to our clients and Care Professionals, by carefully matching them, based on mutual interests, history, background, personality and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enable them to provide personalised support and continuity of care.
We are proud recruiters of warm, compassionate, naturally caring individuals in Brighton, Hove, Portslade, Shoreham, and Southwick for more than 5 years and our company culture revolves around the wellbeing and happiness of our Care Pros.
2 million people in England over the age of 75 live alone, with 500,000 going at least 5 or 6 days a week without seeing or speaking to anyone at all. If you are someone who cares and is willing to do something about it, this role is perfect for you!
As a Care Pro, you will be visiting older people in your local area in their own homes for an hour at a time first and foremost to offer them reliable and consistent companionship, and help them remain independent in their own home for longer, safely and less lonely.
You receive full training, shadowing, support, and mentorship from a great team of experienced people through your whole journey with us, therefore experience is not necessary for this role, but a naturally social personality, willingness to learn, flexible attitude and genuine care and compassion towards older people.
Driving license and a car are essential, as a certain degree of travel will be necessary to carry out the visits (paid mileage + travel time).
Our wonderful Care Pros help maintain our clients' daily routines by having a conversation over a cup of tea, helping around the house, preparing meals, initiating and facilitating walks, and anything else that can help improve the quality of their life.
