Job summary

Home Instead Senior Care in Rochester is seeking Care Professionals to provide non-medical in-home support, helping clients stay independent at home. No prior experience is required as full training is provided; a kind, caring nature is essential.

You will make one-hour visits, assist with personal care, meals, and light housekeeping, and accompany clients to appointments. DBS enhanced disclosure is required.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence is essential to support clients.
• Experience in care or caring for a family member is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn and provide outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Care visits of one hour or more, without rushing.
• Assist with personal care including washing and dressing.
• Meal preparation and light house work.
• Accompany clients to appointments.

Job description

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Rochester as a Care Professional. As a Care Professional, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home. You don't even require experience as we will support you with all the training you'll need!!!

Requirements

• Full driving licence with access to a vehicle essential in order to support our clients to the fullest and must be available to work alternate weekends
• It would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience.
• Passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service.
• Reliability, trustworthiness and respectfulness.
• Enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
• It is preferable that you have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

Care visits of one hour or more for you to care without feeling rushed.

• Assisting with personal care, helping your client wash and dress.
• Meal preparation and light house work.
• Accompanying your client to appointments.

No formal qualifications are required for this role. The only qualifications you will need are a smile, a kind, caring nature and a willingness to help people in your local community.
