Care Practitioner Day Shifts. Telford Hall Care Home
  • Pay Rate: £12.28 per hour
  • Day Shifts: 3 days per week (33 hours) and 4 days per week (44 hours) available
  • Shifts: 7am-7pm
  • Please note - this role is not suitable for applicants with a 20 hour student visa working restriction, or those requiring Visa sponsorship/sponsor switch

Responsibilities As a Day Care Practitioner
  • Assisting residents with personal care, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility support, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
  • Supporting residents with meals and hydration, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
  • Promoting resident engagement by encouraging participation in activities and social interaction.
  • Monitoring residents’ health and well‑being, promptly addressing any changes or concerns.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
  • Documenting care activities accurately and maintaining clear communication with team members.
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for residents and colleagues.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programmes to enhance your skills and knowledge.

  • Overtime is paid for working over full‑time hours. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as manager’s decision is final.
