About the role:

This position is based at our 26-bed facility in York, where you’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team and other stakeholders to deliver person-centred care to residents. You’ll play a key role in supporting residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing, helping them achieve their personal goals and enjoy meaningful daily activities.

Your responsibilities will include promoting independence, coordinating with staff and nursing teams and assisting with everyday tasks such as personal care, mobility, meals, household duties, and leisure activities.

About you:

You are someone who is passionate about delivering person-centred care and can engage meaningfully with residents to support their individual needs. You thrive in a team environment and contribute positively to a collaborative workplace culture. With strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, you’re able to build respectful relationships with residents, families and colleagues.

Ideally, you hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (or similar), or you are working towards it or willing to obtain it.
