Arbury Court in Warrington is seeking a Chef to support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation, storage, and service.

You will handle menu planning, batch cooking, and cost control while adhering to Safer Food Better Business and HACCP. The role offers a stable salary and development opportunities within Elysium Healthcare's care network.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent and a good standard of English are required.
• City & Guilds 706/1 and 2 or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
• Basic Food Hygiene certification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Head Chef for the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Maintaining food storage procedures and stock rotation.
• Preparing, planning and cooking meals to a high standard with dietary needs.
• Serving staff and visitors with food and beverages in a professional manner.
• Preparing foods for conferences and banquets.
• Participating in food costings through cost control procedures.
• Adhering to Safer Food Better Business standards and HACCP records.
• Taking shift responsibility for the catering operation.
• Researching and creating new menus that align with healthy eating guidelines.
