Job summary

Crystal Care Collection is seeking a reliable Kitchen Assistant to support a busy catering team. You will help prepare nutritious meals, maintain a spotless kitchen, and contribute to an exceptional dining experience for residents.

The role involves teamwork, strong organisation, and adherence to food safety standards, with full induction and ongoing development. Working pattern includes 9:00am–6:00pm shifts and a rolling rota.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Ability to follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Organised with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of nutritious, well-balanced meals for residents.
• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
• Follow HACCP procedures and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist with stock rotation and storage to minimise waste.
• Support the Lifestyle Team with food-related activities and events.
