Job summary

Kingsley Healthcare Limited is seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our care team in Sefton. You will recognise and facilitate residents' daily needs while promoting dignity and independence.

You will conduct formal supervisions and appraisals, contribute to care planning, and coach supporting staff. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and excellent organisational skills to work effectively within a team.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous senior care experience is required.

Job description

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be working as part of the care team, recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents, conduct formal supervisions and appraisals, as well as, contributing to care planning and coaching support workers. With an emphasis on high quality, the purpose of the role is to maintain the personal care needs of residents, respecting the dignity of the individual and promoting independence.

Previous experience in a senior care role.

Education and qualification

• You will have, or be working towards, NVQ3 in Health & Social Care.
