Job summary

Kingsley Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our care team in Olney. You will recognise and facilitate residents' daily needs, support dignity, and promote independence within a compassionate, person-centred environment.

Reporting to the Home Manager/Nurse, you will conduct formal supervisions and contribute to care planning, while coaching junior staff to uphold high standards of care across the home.

About the role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be working as part of the care team, recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents, conduct formal supervisions and appraisals, as well as, contributing to care planning and coaching support workers. With an emphasis on high quality, the purpose of the role is to maintain the personal care needs of residents, respecting the dignity of the individual and promoting independence.

Reports to: Home Manager/Deputy Manager/Nurse

Education and qualification

• You will have, or be working towards, NVQ3 in Health & Social Care.
