Job summary

TipTopJob in the Milford on Sea area is seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead a well-regarded nursing home. You will provide strong leadership to the staff team, promote kindness and empathy, and ensure the home meets regulatory standards, including CQC requirements, delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

This permanent, full-time role is 40 hours per week, 9am–5pm, with a salary of GBP70,000 per annum plus benefits such as a pension scheme, performance pay and career development

Qualifications

• Experience managing a nursing or residential home is essential.
• Strong leadership and communication with staff, residents and families.
• Knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.

A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Home Manager to manage an exceptional nursing home based in the Milford on Sea area. You will be working for one of UKs leading health care providers

As The Home Manager Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Provide leadership and direction to the homes staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion and empathy
• Ensure that the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support
• Manage the homes budget, ensuring that financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed
• Develop and implement a well:thought:out marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the homes services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide an excellent service of person:centred care
• Good working knowledge, with a proven record, of CQC standards
• Confidence to communicate and maintain excellent working relationships with all levels of colleagues, internal as well as external professionals, families and visitors.
• A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, good or outstanding rated care home
• Confident communicator with strong leadership credentials
