Haughgate House is a 42 bedded residential and nursing care home and stands as a warm and inviting home committed to providing exceptional care. At the heart of our mission is a dedicated team striving to make every resident feel valued, safe, and truly at home. The home is rated Good by CQC. What would a typical day look like? Whilst no day will be the same in this incredibly rewarding role, responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities
  • Regular updates across the different departments within the home. Supporting with any developments and ensuring critical information is communicated effectively.
  • Overseeing the occupancy and staffing levels across the home, reducing the need for agency staffing where possible.
  • Undertake audits as required in accordance with our governance system.
  • Ensuring a high standard of care at all times, putting our residents at the centre and making them feel safe, secure and comfortable within their home.
Key attributes and experience

Our managers are the life and soul of our homes and you will bring your own personality and sense of joy into the home, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Great communication skills and ability to problem solve are essential, along with strong financial acumen and excellent people skills.

  • Previous management experience in a nursing home setting is required with a proven track record of meeting CQC standards and building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • An RGN Manager with a valid pin is desirable for this position.
