Job summary

Care Concern Group’s Haling Park Care Home in Croydon is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Officer to keep the home safe, well maintained and fully operational. You’ll carry out repairs, inspections, installations across building and grounds, and coordinate with the Home Manager and contractors while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities or a similar role.
• Good knowledge of general repairs, electrical and building maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks across the building and grounds, including repairs, inspections, installations and general upkeep.
• Ensure equipment and systems are working safely and efficiently, identifying issues early and taking appropriate action.
• Support maintenance planning, compliance checks and contractor coordination.
• Maintain a well organised, safe and fully functional environment, ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards.
