Job summary

Lloyd's Register International in Wallsend is seeking a flexible Housekeeping Assistant to join our residential care home. This role covers 20 hours per week, split across Kitchen, Domestic and Laundry duties to maintain cleanliness and care standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning kitchens and dining areas, laundry duties, and general housekeeping across communal spaces. An enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Flexible and adaptable to varying shifts.
• Willing to work across Kitchen, Laundry and Domestic roles.

Responsibilities

• Support Kitchen Assistant tasks: cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, wash crockery, assist in meal prep and service.
• Support Domestic Assistant tasks: clean communal areas, bedrooms, toilets, bathrooms, offices and other areas as required.
• Support Laundry Assistant tasks: tidy laundry, launder and return residents' clothes.
