Job summary

Oakbank Care Home in Crieff is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant on a 20-hour-per-week contract. The role includes cleaning residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, and supporting laundry services.

A positive, reliable attitude and good hygiene knowledge are essential. You will work closely with the team to maintain a clean, welcoming environment, following infection control procedures and health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard of hygiene.
• Support laundry duties: washing, drying, ironing and returning items clearly labelled.
• Follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures to ensure safe, efficient tasks.
