Berkley Care Group is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant in Leicester to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation for residents. The role offers £12.85 per hour, paid breaks and a range of benefits within a supportive care environment.

No prior care experience is required as full training is provided. You will join a warm team delivering compassionate care and ensuring residents enjoy comfortable living spaces.

Qualifications

• First-hand experience in housekeeping or cleaning is desirable but not required.
• Ability to present high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Strong communication with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to maintain cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene.
• Keep communal and private areas beautifully presented at all times.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks: cleaning, mopping and polishing.
• Change bed linen, manage laundry and ironing.
• Assist residents with tidying their rooms on request.
• Communicate effectively with residents, team members and families.
