Job summary

Broomcroft House Care Home in Sheffield is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain high standards of cleanliness and create a warm, welcoming environment for residents. The role is permanent, 38 hours per week, with a rota including alternate weekends.

You will work closely with housekeeping and maintenance staff to keep communal areas and residents' bedrooms spotless, manage stocks, and raise issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the home, working with housekeeping and maintenance staff.
• Vacuum, mop floors, polish and keep communal areas and residents' bedrooms clean.
• Maintain housekeeping stocks and raise issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
