Job summary

The Highgate Care Home, run by Bupa, is hiring a Housekeeping Assistant to help maintain a welcoming and tidy living environment for residents. You will clean communal areas and bedrooms to high standards and work closely with colleagues to support day-to-day care in a busy home.

We offer a competitive hourly rate (£13.30–£14.30) depending on experience, 30 hours per week, and a permanent contract. Join a team dedicated to dignity, comfort and high-quality care in a well-supported setting.

Qualifications

• Keep standards of cleanliness high and maintain an organised work environment.
• Able to multitask and coordinate with other teams to keep residents happy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleanliness standards within the home, working with other housekeeping and maintenance staff.
• Vacuum, mop floors, polish and keep communal areas and residents' bedrooms tidy.
• Maintain housekeeping stocks and raise issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you go.
