Job summary

Grace Care Centre, Thornbury, part of the Orders of St. John Care Trust, is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain the highest cleanliness standards in our elderly care setting. You will uphold hygiene and infection control, using dedicated equipment to create a safe, welcoming environment for residents and their visitors.

Part-time role (24 hours per week) with training provided. We value teamwork, clear communication, and pride in delivering high-quality care every day.

Qualifications

• Comfortable in an elderly care setting and able to relate to residents with care and sensitivity.
• Previous housekeeping experience is beneficial, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all rooms and living spaces.
• Champion hygiene and infection control within the home, and use specialised equipment responsibly.
