Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a friendly General Assistant for one of our care homes in Exeter. You’ll support residents with everyday tasks, keeping a warm, homely environment and delivering practical help across housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and catering.

No two days are the same, you’ll work with kindness and reliability, building positive relationships with residents and colleagues while you learn and grow through our training.

Qualifications

• Reliable and empathetic with a can-do attitude.
• Caring and practical, able to adapt to diverse tasks.
• Willingness to learn and participate in training courses.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping and cleaning to maintain a safe, homely environment.
• Laundry and catering tasks to support residents daily needs.
• Assist with everyday activities and warm, respectful interactions.
