Job summary

St Philip's Care Highlands Care Centre is seeking a dedicated Domestic and Laundry Assistant to help maintain clean, homely surroundings for residents. You will support daily housekeeping duties, focusing on residents' rooms and shared spaces while upholding high standards of cleanliness.

Reporting to the Care Home Manager, you will work as part of a friendly, supportive team and receive full training, induction, and ongoing development opportunities within the St Philip's Care family.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritise workload to meet daily needs.
• Use cleaning products and equipment correctly and economically.
• Awareness of COSHH and general health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the home.
• Clean and care for residents' rooms to keep them homely.
• Clean communal areas, showers, bathrooms, dining and seating areas.
• Support day-to-day running of a busy care establishment.
• Report accidents, hazards and unsafe equipment to management.
