Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Domestic Assistant for Tees Grange care home in Stockton-on-Tees. The role covers daily cleaning duties to keep the home clean, welcoming, and safe for residents and staff.

You will work as part of the Domestic Team to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, and offices. We offer induction, buddy system, and ongoing training to help you settle in.

Qualifications

• Experience in care sector not essential, but helpful.
• Able to meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Willing to participate in induction and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily and weekly cleaning routines and ad-hoc duties.
• Clean and tidy bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms and offices.
• Use cleaning equipment including carpet cleaning machines.
• Assist with laundry washing and drying as required.
• Report breakages, damage, defects and hazards.
• Support residents with a dignified, person-centered approach.
