Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Care Home Deputy Manager to support the delivery of high-quality care. You will work closely with the General Manager, lead a multidisciplinary team, and step in during absence to maintain standards and regulatory compliance.

You will drive audits, supervise clinical practice, manage safeguarding and risk assessments, and help develop strategies to deliver the best possible quality of life for residents in a compassionate, energetic environment.

Qualifications

• To join us as a Care Home Deputy Manager you’ll need experience in helping residents with different health needs and a successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
• We’ll also look for some HR experience, a strong knowledge of sales and marketing and an understanding of budget management.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of high-quality care in a Barchester care home and lead the team in the General Manager’s absence.
• Inspire a multidisciplinary team to help residents enjoy the best possible quality of life, monitor standards through audits and supervised clinical practice.
