Location: Thetford, Norfolk | Salary: £55,000 per annum | Contract: Full-time, permanent

About the Role

As the Deputy Home Manager, you'll work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the home. You'll provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to our nursing and care teams, ensuring residents receive the highest standard of person-centred care in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations and overall management of the home
  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship to nursing and care staff
  • Oversee care planning and ensure compliance with CQC and company standards
  • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with staff management, recruitment, and training
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
  • Take responsibility for the home in the manager's absence
About You
  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager or Clinical Lead within a nursing home is essential
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
